27th February 2010 We have just added a small selection of Toho 3 Cut beads to the website. Toho apply round beads to cutting plates three times to give random facets to the bead. These facets catch the light and give sparkle to your beadwork. The 3 Cuts are available in both sizes 12 and 15.

8th January 2010 We are making room for lots of new products in 2010 so keep checking our Specials section for bargins.

30th September 2009 We now stock The Beadsmiths new Super Micro-mini macrame cord. A thinner version of the original macrame thread the micro thread is great for micro macrame, bead embroidery, bead crochet and bead weaving using beads of size 8, 11 and 15. Have a look in our Kit section for new Sweet Charm kits from Miyuki. Six delicious cakes each with its own fork charm.

27th July 2009 We have just listed a small selection of Toho Aiko Beads. These precision cylinder beads are perfect in size and shape. Toho estimate only 1 in 100,000 is imperfect! We will stock more colours if these sell well. Let us know which you'd like. In the Miyuki Mix section you will now find Delica Beads in all the popular mix colours plus some exclusive to Delicas.

20th June 2009 The new Lucite delivery is finally up on the website. It includes some more Vintage beads. Watch out for new seed bead colours in all sizes over the next week.

5th March 2009 We now stock WildFire, a new beading thread from Beadalon. WildFire is similar to Fireline but is softer, stronger and doesn't kink as much. It is becoming popular with beading designers and teachers. It is available in two thicknesses and three colours.

4th March 2009 We've just added lots of coloured Toho 3mm Magatamas to the website. These drop beads have large holes that take many passes of thread so are ideal for beadweaving.

9th February 2009 Have a look in our new Specials section. In here you will find ends of lines, one off purchases and lots more. All the products that are new to the website and are at great prices but stocks are limited. You will not find these products anywhere else on the website and we will keep adding to this section so don't forget to check here when you shop.

2nd February 2009 We now have some lucite flower beads from our mixes available to purchase individually.

30th January 2009 New from Beadsmith are Bungee Bracelets. These are a base metal chain over a stretchy core. Several jumprings are attached to the chain so you can add whatever charms or beads that you like and change them easily. Or just wear the bracelet plain. The Jewelry Workshop kits are now available in five woven wire designs as well as the Chain Maille kits that we already have in the shop. In Czech Glass we have some new Bell Flower mixes. Several match firepolished bead mixes in sizes from 3mm to 8mm. We will be expanding the colour range shortly. We also have a new colours in 4mm Firepolished bead colours, Ultra Suede, Baby Bell Flowers and Daggers.

5th January 2009 We now have all three thicknesses of Toho's T Line in stock. T Line is a soft strong transparent thread perfect for beading. We also have new Wig Jig stock: pegs in packs of the same diameter, the Delphi jig and a premium pack of super pegs for the Centaur/Delphi/Cyclops jigs.

4th November 2008 Miyuki bead kits for necklaces, rings and braclets have just arrived. New from Beadsmith is 'Flex-rite' a coated beading wire. We have the 49 strand wire in several colours including silver and gold plate. Look out for these in the shop later in the week.

22nd September 2008 We have a small selection of Toho Charlottes in size 15 just listed on the website. Later this week we will add 8 colours of permanent finish gilt lined beads as well as a few more colours of galvanised permanent finish beads all in size 11.

11th September 2008 A new lucite delivery has just arrived. It includes daisy, pansy, morning glory and baby's breath flowers in more colours than we currently stock. We hope to have these sorted out and in the shop next week.

11th July 2008 We have just received a new lucite delivery. Most beads are flowers but there are also a few leaves, butterflies and shells. The delivery includes a limited number of vintage lucite beads. We will add all the beads to the website over the next two weeks. We also have three trial issues of the South African Magazine 'The Bead Book'. There are only two copies of each issue available. Let us know if you like it and we will stock the magazine in future.

28th June 2008 Size 8 and 11 seed beads are now sorted by colour number. In response to requests from customers these sections have an 'Add selection to cart' button at the bottom of the page instead of an 'Add to cart' button on each item. This allows you to select all the beads that you want in each section and add them to your shopping cart in one go. These beads are still sorted by finish if you prefer to buy this way and are also included in the Beads by Colour section.

20th June2008 We now have Toho cube beads in 4mm. The Miyuki Cat kit is back in stock. We also have out of stock Miyuki mixes; as soon as they are boxed they will be back in the shop. There will be some new size 11 and size 15 Miyuki mixes soon. There is a new Toho delivery on its way which includes most of the out of stock items. These should be back in the shop during the next two weeks.

11th June2008 We now stock Silamide thread in seven colours. Find more information in the Stringing section. We also have a small selection of Anti Tarnish Brass clasps. Anti tarnish brass gives you the look of gold without the price tag.

4th June 2008 We've finished putting all the lucite leaves and flowers on the website. We hope that you like them! We've also just listed lots of new firepolished beads. Most of these are 3mm mixes that match the 4 and 6mm that we already have. Many of these firepolished mixes match or complement the Miyuki mixes.

21st May 2008 Due to many requests we now sell 1" and 1.5" Flip Top Boxes in bags of 100.

8th May 2008 The Lucite delivery of flowers and leaves has arrived. We will add these to the website as soon as we can.

2nd May 2008 We have just upgraded the software on the site and included a few design changes. We hope you like them. If you have any problems with the site please let us know.

4th April 2008 We've just added lots more of Toho's new Galvanised finished beads to the shop in both sizes 8 and 11. Most of the new beads are a matt finish. There are also some new Toho beads in sizes 6, 8, 11, Miyuki drop colours and Toho size 8 hex cut. Some of the Hex cut are marked as 'Limited Availablilty' as these colours are no longer sold by our suppliers. We have also had a delivery of the out of stock size 15s as well as a few new colours. As soon as these are boxed up we will put them in the shop.

13th March 2008 Czech Crystals are now available by the gross (144 pieces) as well as 10, 20 and 40s. There are five new colours of 4mm crystals.
